U.S. Model 1859 Spurs - Inventory Number: CAV 076

Matching pair of Civil War Model 1859 Spurs, widely issued to Union Cavalrymen. This is the “gutter back” style with the cast strengthening groove cast along the interior. The brass on the spurs has taken on a deep bronze colored patina, and one spur retains its original bootstrap. Both iron rowels are present and turn freely. A perfect addition to a Civil War cavalry display.
