U.S. Model Regulation 1859 Civil War Spur - Inventory Number:  CAV 098

Civil War Model 1859 Spur, widely issued to Union Cavalrymen. This is the “gutter back” style with the cast strengthening groove cast along the interior. The brass on the spur has taken on a deep bronze colored patina. Iron rowel is present and in very good condition. Early battlefield recovery from Brandy Station, Virginia. A perfect addition to a Civil War cavalry display.
