The Home to the Camp: Addressed to the Soldiers of the Union by John F. W. Ware. Printed in Boston by the American Unitarian Association in 1864. From the “Army Series” No.3. The 19-page, 5 5/8” by 3 5/8” pamphlet was distributed to soldiers in the effort to keep them on a straight moral compass in their new lives in the army, and to avoid alcohol and “women of the camp.” In solid condition with some soiling and foxing throughout.
Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
