.58 Caliber “Blow Through” Minie Bullet - Inventory Number: BUL 373 / SOLD

Civil War .58 caliber Minie ball that had the powder charge blow through the bullet when fired. This occurred due to casting flaws and was more prevalent with Confederate manufactured bullets. The bullet has an old “107” inventory number written on the side. A unique Civil War relic and conversation piece.
