"Arkansas Toothpick” / SOLD

Superb example of a Confederate fighting knife.  This example measures 18” overall with a 12 7/8” spearpoint blade.  The lathe turned handle retains its original iron collar.  The tang is seated with an iron fitting as well.    Scabbard is wood lined and exhibits a leather frog with iron button stud as seen on Confederate short artillery sword scabbards.  The leather is in sound condition with cotton stitched seam.  Wonderful example of a southern fighting knife!
