Civil War “Cravat” Grouping / SOLD

Rare Civil War woven necktie or “Cravat”.  Constructed of red, white, and blue woven wool, the cravat is one of the hardest of Civil War textiles to obtain.  This patriotic example being the finest we’ve encountered.  Accompanying the cravat is a hand-made 3rd Corps badge constructed of oyster shell, an acorn, a bone lapel stud, and a skeleton key.  The original pasteboard collar case is present with black and gold label.  Wonderful group and the first cravat that we’ve had to offer!

Comes housed in 12 inch x 16 inch riker display case with blue velvet backing and descriptive card.
