Non excavated U.S. 1839 pattern belt buckle with a deep, mellow patina. The rear is lead filled with arrow style belt hooks behind the ‘U”. Typical dings and scratches from actual use. An attractive example. 

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
