Civil War US “Bullseye” Canteen / SOLD

Civil War Union 7-ring canteen. This is the classic style known to collectors as the "Bullseye” pattern with the reinforcement rings stamped on each side. It still has all three of the original strap loops present. The pewter spout has some damage to the rim and bears the remnants of the maker’s mark of Hadden, Porter & Booth, a Philadelphia tin and hardware firm that delivered hundreds of thousands of canteens throughout the entire war. The canteen has a couple of dings and dents from service. A representative and well used Civil War canteen.
