The “Blue Gray Reunion”. One of the scarcer Gettysburg Reunion badges, this one is in beautiful condition and retains its original yellow ribbon and suspension bar with the motto: “Pro Aris et Focis”, a Latin phrase meaning `For God and country` or literally `for our altars and our hearths. This badge is from the year when the South was invited back after 25 years. General Longstreet would make his triumphant return that year. Scarce.

Comes housed in 6 inch x 8 inch riker display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
