Infantry Captain’s Shoulder Straps - Inventory Number: INS 338 / SOLD

Double boarder Captain of infantry shoulder straps.  A wonderful original wartime set of Civil War straps.  The background is dark blue velvet with most of the nap in very good condition.  These are a higher-grade example featuring a double boarder of alternating gold bullion.  The bullion featured an alternating pattern of dead and bright bullion in opposite directions creating a neat aesthetic.  These show some honest patina and some use and would make a great addition to a wartime coat or by themselves.

Comes housed in 6 x 8 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
