Dug stamped brass "Jeff Davis" or Hardee Hat eagle insignia used to pin up the side of the Army felt dress hat. In good, excavated condition as these are usually recovered in pieces, with sharp detail and complete with attachment wires. 

Comes housed in a 5 x 6 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card
