Model 1855 Rifleman’s Belt Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 317 / Sold

Very nice example, complete with all four pieces.  This plate was issued to rifleman and consisted of two interlocking brass plates with a pair of sliding brass “keeper” devices.  This example was excavated in Manassas, Va.
