Majestic example of a Civil War patriotic cockade. Men, women and children wore these patriotic rosettes during the Civil War to show support for the Union. This example is constructed of Red, White, and Blue silk arranged in a pleated circular form with a silver gilded eagle holding a star in its beak and arrows and the Constitution scroll in its talons.
