The Title page states: “Proclaim Liberty throughout all the land until all the inhabitants thereof. “The inscription of the bell is in the old Philadelphia Statehouse, which was rung July 4. 1776. At the Signing of the Declaration of Independence.”
This book was once part of the Professor Talcott Collection of the Bangor, Maine Theological Seminary.
The contents contain all of the pertinent arguments of the antislavery cause at the time. Professionally repaired spine with archival leaf page, ex libris label from the Theological Seminary of Bangor.
As of this time I cannot locate any other copies of this work sold online or in institutions.
Comes housed in 14 x 20 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
