Solid Gold “Army” Pin - Inventory Number: PER 355 / SOLD

Seven-sided jeweler made pin fashioned from gold. At the center is the word “ARMY” and each side has a cryptic letter of unknown significance. The inscription style and T pin back are consistent with Civil War period construction. Measures about 1” wide. This would have been an expensive piece and certainly held great significance to the owner.  

Comes housed in a 5 x 6 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
