Unissued Civil War Drummer’s Buckle in Original Wrapper - Inventory Number: MUS 123 / SOLD

Civil War Regulation Drumstick Carriage Buckle issued to Civil War Drummers. This plate was affixed to the drummer’s sling of the drummer and stored the drumsticks when not in use. The plate is constructed of heavy sheet brass and the tubes are fashioned of rolled sheet brass. Unissued and still wrapped in the original brown paper wrapper with red, white, and blue twine. A rare example just as they were issued right out of the shipping crate.
