Civil War Era Pistol Capper

 

Scarce implement for the percussion pistols. This brass device contained a quantity of pistol percussion caps under spring tension and made priming the pistol mush faster. This example is in excellent condition, with lots of gold gilt finish,  and is fully functional. This example measures 2” in diameter. These are much scarcer than the bullet molds and flasks.
