Federal Artillery Cuff or Hat Button – Inventory Number: BUT 189  Federal Artillery button, eagle with “A” in shield, two part button, hat or sleeve size. Button was intended for artillery and depicts eagle with “A” in the shield, generally for officers. This die pattern features eagle facing right. Backmark: “HORSTMANN & SONS / (dot) PHI (dot)” rmdc on a stippled channel.  Shank is slight bend. Reference: Albert AY71 to AY79, Tice AY206 and AY215 Inventory Number: BUT 189
