Frankford Arsenal Fuses – Inventory Number: ART 256 / Sold Original unopened package, 8 second – Dated 1864 Original Civil War Cannon fuses were manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal during the Civil War.   Each package contains 5 fuses, which would be exposed by pulling the linen tab.   These fuses would be cut to length and inserted in the fuse adapter to ignite the powder charge in the canon ball.     Inventory Number: ART 256 / Sold
