Gold Badge with 23rd Corps Battle Honors – Inventory Number: IDE 143 / SOLD Gold shield badge measuring 1” in height with an eagle and flags motif. The badge is finely engraved with the battle honors “Knoxville, Atlanta, Franklin, Nashville, Tt. Anderson, Town Creek, Wilmington.” These battles were all fought by the 23rd Corps, part of the Army of the Ohio. The pin on the back of the badge is no longer present. A unique and attractive jeweler made soldier’s badge. Comes housed in a 5 x 6 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.   Inventory Number: IDE 143 / SOLD
