Description

Hotchkiss Artillery Shell 3.67″ – Inventory Number: ART 190 / SOLD An excavated example of the Hotchkiss shell still retaining its base and nose.  This was probably placed on it in the early twentieth century as a catalog indicator in a collection.  Shell stands 7″ in height and is free of oxidation, but does show scattered areas of pitting due to ground action.  The area of recovery is unknown.   Inventory Number: ART 190 / SOLD
