Square Militia Belt Plate 

1815–1830

 

With deeply struck Federal eagle and minor warping from age or period use. The back retains the integral rectangular belt hook and remains structurally sound despite light edge deformation. Patina ranges from medium brown to olive, with solder seams showing undisturbed oxidation. A representative example of the early cast brass militia plate form.
