Texas Confederate Martingale Device – Inventory Number: CON 517 / SOLD This ornamental brass device adored the chest piece of the horse. This unique example is constructed of brass with a silver raised five-pointed star and shows field use. This example was recently deassessed by the Texas Civil War Museum. Collection of Ray Ritchiel In over 30 years of collecting and dealing, we have never had the opportunity to offer another example of this plate.
