United Confederate Veteran Decorated Bullseye Canteen – Inventory Number: CAN 118 / SOLD Wonderful painted Civil War 5-ring canteen. This is the classic style known to collectors as the “Bullseye” pattern with the reinforcement rings stamped on each side. It still has all three of the original strap loops present, as well as the pewter spout. The canteen was painted silver with the Civil War dates “61/65” in red, white, and blue letters. Affixed to the center is an excellent Virginia Staff Officer’s button with full gilt.
