United Confederate Veterans 1911 21st Reunion Badge

 

United Confederate Veterans 1911 reunion medal with the top bar in the shape of the state of Arkansas. At the center are crossed, enamel filled drooping Confederate Battle flag and 3rd National flag. At center, above the flags, is the dome of the state capitol building with the rays of a sunrise behind it. Wording on the top bar reads “21ST REUNION LITTLE ROCK MAY 16-17-18.” Suspended from this top bar is a cross superimposed over a laurel wreath with the bust of General Patrick Cleburne, an Arkansas resident when the state seceded. A red enamel ring surrounds the bust, and below this is “P. R. CLEBURNE 1911” while around the arms of the cross is “UCV.” The total height of the medal is 2 ¾”. The pin on the back is still intact. An attractive and well-designed Confederate reunion badge.

Comes housed in a 5 x 6 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
