Virginia State Button – Inventory Number: BUT 204 / SOLD Button depicts Virginia state sea, with Virtus slaying the tyrant, intended for Virginia Troops.  This state seal with Virtus’s sword pointed down became prevalent from the 1850’s.  Backmark: Canfield Bro. & Co. Baltimore.  Two piece construction.   Inventory Number: BUT 204 / SOLD
