.58 Caliber Cartridge Box / Sold

Model 1855 cartridge box with original leather sling.  This example retains the original U.S. cartridge box pate in excellent condition with nice even mellow gold patina.  The interior has the tin inserts for cartridges, the interior pouch and buckles have been removed by the soldier for other repurposing.  Nice example for any civil war collection.
