Complete text, including engraved portrait frontispiece to title page, preface, contents, and the chronological table at the rear. Lacking all maps and plates. This monumental historical work—first published in 1614 and written by Raleigh while imprisoned in the Tower of London—remains one of the most celebrated early English histories.
