Good condition box with wood block for holding twenty .54 Burnside cartridges, retains three original casings and one complete cartridge.
Outer flaps have little to no surface finish loss. A line of stitching holds the latch tab in place. Tab is complete and solid. Inner flap is smooth and clean with both ears still in place. The body of the box is in very good condition. The brass finial and both roller buckles are present on the bottom. The back of the box has both belt loops. A solid example.
