This original Union eagle breast plate was recovered from North Lawrence, Ohio. Featuring the classic spread-wing eagle design, this stamped brass plate with lead-filled backing was once affixed to a soldier’s crossbelt. The plate exhibits heavy field wear, with two attachment holes at the top and a portion of the rim damaged—typical of relics exposed to the elements for over a century.
