Civil War Eagle Breastplate - Inventory Number:  BEL 428 / SOLD

Excellent example of an excavated Civil War Period Eagle Breast Plate. Nice brown patina overall with no damage to the face. The reverse shows the full lead solder fill turned to a dark gray, both iron attachment loops are lacking. Recovered from Culpepper, VA.

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with blue velvet backing and descriptive card.
