Civil War Ink Stamping Kit - Inventory Number: MIS 186 / SOLD

Original tin box with period label for indelible ink by the “E.S. Curtis” company of Boston.  The kit contains an ink pad, a very well-constructed brass stamp with the letters S.B..  The kit also contains a period ink bottle with cork and a brush with boar’s hair bristles and hardwood handle.   A wonderful addition to an officer or sutler display.
