Non-excavated Civil War pattern 1839 US enlisted belt buckle. Lead filled with arrow style hooks behind the letter “U”. In unissued condition with gold wash still present on the face. A very fine example. 

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
