Confederate Soldiers' Belt - Inventory Number: CON 189 / SOLD
This wonderful cotton single billet belt is the epitome of the Confederate service. This pattern waistband was more common in the southern Army than the CS and State belt plates of the era as documented in many Confederate images this, simple yet utilitarian design was favored for holster rigs and bowie sheaths alike. The integral tongue device fastens with a roller buckle which is affixed to the web via a leather tab which is outfitted with a keeper loop. Scarce example for any Confederate enlisted display.
