Battle of Gettysburg
Excavated Virginia 22mm two-piece button with a high convex front. The back is marked “Mitchell & Tyler/ Richmond VA” and retains the shank. The entire button has a dark, smooth patina overall with some dirt remaining around “Virtus” on the face. A very slick Virginia button. From a collection of local Gettysburg Relics recovered in the 1950’s. Accompanied by certificate of authenticity.
Comes housed in a display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
