Coverlet Depicting George Washington - Inventory Number: MIS 119 / SOLD

This is a fancy and figural jacquard coverlet with George Washington.  The colors are vibrant-white, red, green, and orange, and darker green.  The white color is cotton and all the other colors are wool.  There are no seams.  This coverlet was probably made in Pennsylvania, mid-19th century.  No rips or tears.  No loss to the wool fringe.  This would be an amazing piece to hang on the wall or use as a bedspread.  Measures 80” x 82”.
