    Diary and Record of Service of a Confederate Soldier 3rd Kentucky and 22nd Tennessee Regiment - Inventory Number: CON 495 / SOLD

    Record of service kept by a man probably from Pine Bluff Kentucky who joined the 22nd Tennessee Regiment of the Confederacy in 1861 and served through the battle of Belmont Missouri, November 7, 1861. He left his company and went home joining the 3rd Kentucky Regiment of the Confederacy in 1864. The just over 3-page account ends abruptly while travelling to Corinth. Also includes a five-page diary describing battles which is written in faded pencil and only partially legible.

    Comes housed in 16 x 12 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
