Excavated Enfield Bayonet - Inventory Number: BAY 211 / SOLD
Bayonet for a Pattern 1853 Enfield Rifle Musket, the most imported weapon during the Civil War, in early battlefield recovered condition. The blade is missing several inches of the tip and has some bends, and the socket is slightly crushed. The total length is 16”. An interesting Civil War battlefield relic.
