Wonderful New Testament dated 1862 with Red Moroccan leather cover with tab closure.  There are a pair of period ink inscriptions on the fly pages attributing it to: “Nathan French Roxbury Township New Jersey” 

Nathan C. French - Enlisted on 9/3/1862 as a Private in Company "C" of the 27th New Jersey Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 7/2/1863 at Newark, NJ.
