Wonderful, cased presentation surgical kit manufactured by A.M. Leslie & Co. of Saint Louis, Missouri.  Leslie began business in 1865.  The instruments are constructed with checkered ivory handles to allow for a stable grip while in use.  This ivory handle kit contains a variety of surgical tools including an amputation saw, tendon knives, metacarpal knives, scalpels etc. Kit was the property of S.B. Neilson of Texas.
