Early 1860 campaign medal with a ferrotype image of Constitutional Union presidential candidate John Bell set into the obverse of a coin-shaped brass frame. The reverse of the medal features a similar ferrotype photo of Edward Everett, famous orator and Bell’s vice-presidential running mate in 1860. The medal measures 15/16” wide with some slight loss to the ferrotype emulsion in plaes. A fine addition to a collection of political or presidential memorabilia.
