NCO Sword Belt Plate - Inventory Number: BEL 514 / SOLD

This is the regulation model 1851 sword belt plate as prescribed for use with Non-commissioned officers.  The plate was also issued to artillery and cavalry; however, this plate exhibits the median rays of the sunburst that extend downward beneath the eagle as well as above. This plate features a crisp detailed one-piece silver wreath. It retains the original keeper with matching patina and bench number.

Comes housed in 6 inch x 8 inch riker display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
