Revolutionary War Era Sword - Inventory Number: SWO 289

Ca. 1770 sword good condition iron blade with faint engraved panel.  The iron cross guard has a period added addition to the simplistic guard it was originally manufactured with.  Nice early maple grip with a small rack nail added at some point to tighten the grip.  Unknown country of origin as it fits the most simplistic structure of the era.
