    Revolutionary War Pay Document - Inventory Number: REV 043 / SOLD

    April 11, 1781 Revolutionary War pay document signed by Samuel Willis 1739 to 1823. Willis served as colonel in the continental army and fought at the battle of Long Island. Later he attains the rank of major general of Connecticut militia. The document is in excellent condition and is addressed to a captain Daniel Stewart.

    Comes housed in 14 x 8 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
