Set of Matching Civil War Officer's Buttons - Inventory Number: BUT 125 / SOLD
Twelve matching non-excavated Civil War Infantry Officer's buttons with the back mark "Schulyer, Hartley, and Graham of New York". There are ten coat sized buttons, that have the spread-wing eagle with the "I” shield on its chest. This denotes the infantry branch of service. They have an excellent amount of the original gold wash still present lending the buttons to have a superb look. There are two fine non-excavated Civil War cuff buttons. The face of the button has the beautiful spread wing eagle. Stars surround the eagle and form the edge of the button. The background is a lined field. The original backs and shanks are intact on all twelve buttons.
