Sharpless Brothers Token -  Inventory Number: CUR 166

Manufactured by Scovill Manufacturing of Waterbury, Connecticut. Good traces of gold gilt with detailed beehive in face. This token was produced in 1857 for this well-known dry goods store, located at the northwest corner of eighth and Chestnut Street of Philadelphia.

Comes housed in 5 x 4 riker display case with black velvet and descriptive card.
