Smith and Wesson 2nd Model Army Revolver with Holster- Inventory Number: HAN 319 / SOLD

Smith & Wesson Model Two Old Model Revolver – The “No. 2 Old Army”; Serial No. 17412.  Made 1862.  This pistol was a favorite Side Arm for Civil War Era; .32 Rimfire Long Caliber; 6” Barrel; An excellent example which was carried throughout the war.  Both the original holster and revolver show much use but remain in sound condition. The scarce leather holster has been with this example since the war and has had additional slits in the flap to suit the needs of the soldier.  The belt loop is loose at the bottom. Great example of an early war S&W Revolver with holster.
