Spring Leaded Fleam / Bleeder with Original Case - Inventory Number:  MED 251

Wonderful original 19th century bleeder or Fleam. Has working spring loaded mechanism and a very sharp blade. Comes with its original embossed fabric covered case with dark blue velvet lining. Casket measures 2 7/8” by 1.5” by .75. Fleam features some decorative accents on the mechanism.  A Very nice example of an early medical instrument.
