US 4.2” 30-Pounder Parrott Common Shell

Construction: Cast iron with brass sabot (now missing).  Weight: 24.8 pounds.  Diameter: 4.1 inches.  Length: 12-1/4 inches.  Very good, excavated condition with overall light pitting and no repairs. The shell has been deactivated.  Recovered from Richmond, VA area.  This artillery shell will be an excellent addition to any excavated Civil War artillery or general relic collection.
