Wonderful cavalry officer’s hat insignia of embroidered bullion crossed sabers on a black velvet background, encircled by a twisted brass border. Complete with a brown polished cotton backing and one attachment loop remaining. Very attractive example for a Civil War cavalry collection. 

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with red velvet backing and descriptive card.
